A new robotic solution to increase order fulfillment productivity, the Meet Me solution coordinates humans and robots as one cohesive system, enabling warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing operations to increase productivity, mitigate risk, and scale without adding headcount.
The company's unique Pyxis technology optimizes the order-picking process by managing the work of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and human pickers as independent workflows. The company's proprietary algorithm directs human pickers via a wearable device to meet Lumabot AMRs at the next best picking location, eliminating downtime and increasing throughput in the fulfillment process.
Lumabots feature the company's patent-pending pick-to-light shelving, which reduces human error and improves picking accuracy. They can handle loads of up to 450 lb (200 kg) with configurable shelving that's wide enough to accommodate larger SKUs. The AMRs also provide a hot-swappable battery that lasts up to two shifts (20+ h) without needing a charge. Batteries are easily changed during normal operations.
Pyxis integrates with your warehouse management system (WMS) to prioritize orders, direct and assign tasks, and communicate directly with human workers for continuous and accurate workflow.
